Results of an Unfiltered Mind

As the weekend approaches, I am looking forward to and dreading it all at the same time. Thankfully, it is a holiday weekend, and since my kiddos are going away for the weekend, I have three days of time without hearing bickering, whining, tapping, "mmmmmaaaaammmmmaaaa", or to hear them giggle, sing sweet songs or being them lovely selves. I will sacrifice the sweet stuff to have the work time, though.
See, I really do have an unfiltered mind. I have 3 books I am working on concurrently. Unfortunately, not a single one of them is on the same subject, so it is becoming a pain to try and keep all three projects straight in my head. I will finish one this weekend if it kills me! I am coming home on Friday and locking myself up inside my house and work as much as I possibly can. I will come out with a book or die trying.
See, I think that if I can get one finished, I will be 1/3 of the way there. Maybe it will clear my head a little so the other projects will get the jolt that they need to come off of life support. Because, as it is, I just have TOO much information swimming around.
Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE to write. However the books that I am working on are all non-fiction, so the facts are getting bogged down in the swamp that has become my mind lately. So, if over the next few days you do not have new posts to read, never fear. I will be back by Tuesday making the world crazy again with my musings. I may still post, but if I don't, then you will know why.

AND ~~ Thank you for all the wonderful comments on this blog! They are what has created the push to get me to finally finish a book!

Thank you for sharing the story of how God came to intervene in your life. (I have quite a similar story myself -including the little 'outline' of traits I admired and wanted in a man, but had frankly given up on...and a heartfelt prayer about it, even giving God the option to lead me thru a life without a husband!) And here I am, 12 years later, still happily married to the man God gave me! Isn't His love awesome...

I also write! It's so cool to discover other women going thru the same kinds changes, and dealing with the same kinds of challenges that I do. It's encouraging and inspiring.
Thanks again!
