I guess I am cheating.
About a month before Christmas, I bought a ringtone for my phone that I truly adored, and it was perfect for Christmas...."Santa Baby" by Ertha Kitt. Then, inevitably, a few days after Christmas I realized that I was going to have to change it. I am not big on change, so I went back to my pre-Christmas tone, "Kerosene" by Miranda Lambert.
However, now I am feeling a little differently, and I wanted something a little more unique. So, after a little thought, I decided upon "Un Homme et une Femme" that classic little French song I love so very much. So this is where I cheated. I looked for the ringtone version, but I couldn't find it, and I really wanted this song, so I used my voice recorder on my phone and made a ringtone off of a CD. I got it as a gift for Mother's Day, and I loveeeeee it. (It is my theme music to clean house by.) So I cheated and recorded it and now that is my ringtone.
Oh la la........feeling so Parisian about right now. Still not sure if it is ethically right, but I do own the CD, so that has to count for something.

Just wanted to let you know that this is legal, as long as you're not trying to sell the ringtone. Dh has software for his phone so we can plug it into the computer via USB, and create our own ringtones from CDs. We do it all the time!
Now if only I could find a sound file I would love to hear the song. HMPH! LOL
