Tomorrow starts my time off with my kiddos. I have to work one last day on Thursday, but that is not keeping us from letting the fun begin. So, for starters, we are headed to the water park.
Point Mallard, located in Decatur, Alabama, hosts half price day on Mondays and Wednesdays, what more could you want? It is a huge water park, with slides, a wave pool and lots more to do. At $8 for adults and $5.50 for children, it is a good way to get in a day of fun for not much money. Since it is only about an hour drive from our house, we will be able to have some fun in the sun and still drive back home.
Another fun thing we will be doing this week is taking advantage of the free movies at our local theater. Yep, our wonderful theater owners along with the local radio station host "Summer Kids Movie Series." This week we will be watching Ice Age 2. Sure, we have seen it a dozen times on DVD, but nothing beats a free movie!
Other fun on our schedule this week is a trip to the dentist (yes, that is sarcasm you detect). Leaving home at 5:30 a.m. to travel an hour and a half is soooo exciting! But, it is on our schedule just the same.
Work will be on Thursday, which will be my last day to work until July 7th. I think I can handle just one day of work this week (lol).
Friday will be a fun day at our friends house, with a picnic being a great possibility. That will be a relaxing way to end our busy week. It will be fun filled, but very hectic. This time off is going to go by very quickly, I am afraid.

Our day at Point Mallard was SOOOO much fun! We had a blast, and it was so worth the effort. I HIGHLY suggest anyone close enough making a trip, you will love it!
