Tile with style

When we had to make some adjustments to move the counter forward, we decided to add in a backsplash. I fell in love with a sheet of gorgeous glass tiles, but at $15 a square foot, it was way too much for my heart to cope. The great lady at Lowe's helped me find some 22 cents each subway tile to cover the bulk of the area, while using the glass tiles as an accent. Two sheets were a lot easier to stomach than ten of them.

Beauty on a budget, gotta love it!

Those glass tiles are GORGEOUS, but very pricey. Way to work with your budget! It's going to be beautiful.

I do love the glass tiles! I'd love to do our backsplash with them, but, like you, we're on a budget! They look really nice paired with the subway tiles.
